#designdreaming – bathroom plans part 2

    June 30, 2017

And we’re back with part 2 of the bathroom plan! I wanted to share the layout of the room – if you missed the finishes I’m planning on, you can read all about that here – so here we go!

So here it is! Reasonably sized, practical, unfortunately no tub (tragic.), but I can’t waaaaait to get everything crisp & bright! In my more ~adventurous~ years, I painted the room teal. Yeah. That’s really done wonders for getting my makeup done right, HA. For reference, a green cast on your face as you’re doing your makeup is a pain in the butt, I don’t recommend it.

The back wall is going to get gussied up with some accent trim – I think it’ll tie in with the wood wall in my bedroom without being too matchy-matchy.

I’m hoping to create some decently sized niches – I’m also looking for a teak shower stool to keep in the shower to make shaving a little more convenient, but those suckers are pricey! Any & all suggestions are welcome 🙂

So subway tile for the shower walls, and the 1″ hexagon tile for the flooring – classic but my absolute favorite!

Alright, so there’s the rundown of the grand scheme! Hopefully we’ll get this project started in the next few weeks!
